[edit] Guidelines
In general, this page should be used primarily to solicit outside feedback regarding mergers (particularly those of a controversial nature), or assistance with difficult or complicated mergers. Brief replies may be posted here, but lengthy discussions should be confined to the talk pages of the articles involved. After articles are merged (or a consensus that the articles should not be merged is reached), please remove them from the list below.
- If you want to show off your work, use the talk page.
- Category mergers should not be proposed here. Please see Wikipedia:Categories for discussion.
- For a complete list of articles with current merger proposals, please see Category:Articles to be merged.
- If you need help with renaming or moving, consult Help:Moving a page.
- For guidance on merging, consult the Integration WikiProject.
Cut and paste move fixes: To request page histories to be merged, list them at cut and paste move repairs.

- Proposed merger of Sunnu with Xiongnu. "Sunnu" is nothing more than an alternative spelling and the article has very little substance.--Joostik (talk) 21:39, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
- Incr Tcl redirect to Itcl, but Incr Tcl have a history that refer to same content, an Itcl should be named Incr Tcl, because the name of software really is (see web site of incr Tcl. Next merge the articles (Note that content of Itcl is more complete). So I am proposing Move Itcl to Incr Tcl, and merge your histories. Shooke (talk) 21:30, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
- I am proposing that Kratom extraction be merged into Kratom. Kratom Extraction can easily be included as a subtopic of the main Kratom article. I have no idea why a separate page was created and it is mostly a copy of the chemical makeup and physiological effects of Kratom; pretty much zero discussion of extraction methods. Mpawelek (talk) 16:08, 9 July 2009 (UCT)
- I have proposed that Sub-Saharan DNA admixture in Europe be merged into Genetic history of Europe. In practice this article is working as a WP:POVFORK as I have explained on the talkpage.--Andrew Lancaster (talk) 05:58, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
- I am proposing that Ludgate Circus tube station be merged in to City Thameslink railway station, given that the former was/is a proposed station on the site of the existing City Thameslink station, and if it were to ever be built would exist as part of the same station complex. Grunners (talk) 17:50, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

- Proposed merger of Reynard cycle and Isengrim into Reynard, as the two articles about the charcters have very little content and the whole thing would be better covered in a single article. Discuss at Talk:Reynard.--Michig (talk) 10:49, 13 June 2009 (UTC)
- A merge of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth into 9/11 Truth movement has been proposed. Opinions about the proposed merge are divided, and comments are welcome! Cs32en 06:47, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

- Beyond Belief (symposium) into The Science Network. They are about the same organization. Both articles are struggling to survive as it is. Putting them together would help them gain notability.Steve Dufour (talk) 17:25, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit] April 2009

- Merge Labour Day (which is %90 a list of May 1 celebrations) with International Workers' Day (which also lists May 1 celebrations. Originally Labour Day included United States Labor Day, but that was split off. International Workers' Day is a split from May 1. The two need to find independent subjects or merge: uninvolved editors needed to decide which. T L Miles (talk)
- Merge taipa (building material) with rammed earth. Taipa is merely the Portuguese name for rammed earth. Discuss at Talk:Rammed earth. — AjaxSmack 23:36, 26 April 2009 (UTC)

- Propose merger of Punch-Out!! (arcade game), Punch-Out!! (NES) and Punch-Out!! (Wii), into
Punch-Out!! (video game) (over redirect)Punch-Out!!. These are are all versions of the same game produced by Nintendo (yes, even the arcade game) and they fail the Pokemon Test. The Punch-Out!! game itself is far more notable than any one of its versions, and these many short articles would better serve the reader as one article that discusses all these versions. Wilhelm_meis (talk) 11:34, 9 April 2009 (UTC) - Please consider merging County Police into Sheriffs in the United States as they talk about the same subject, just under different names. It is no different than comparing a county to a parish in Louisiana they are about the same thing, slight diferences, but those diferences also exist between states that use the term county. The term Sheriff or Police are both law enforcement terms, and a county sheriff or a county police is pretty much the same thing.--Mrboire (talk) 21:44, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
- Please weigh in on a proposed merge of Holy Week and Holy Week (Catholic Church) at Talk:Holy Week. — AjaxSmack 02:31, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

- I'm proposing a merger of Verdiacee Goston into Washitaw Nation. These articles are each so meagerly equipped with supporting reliable references, that it make more sense to me to simply merge them into one and focus on it, in terms of improvements. cheers Deconstructhis (talk) 23:28, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
- Merge Carriacou into Carriacou and Petite Martinique because of overlapping between two. Vanjagenije (talk) 01:59, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

- Merge Franklin Avenue (BMT Fulton Street Line) original station into the BMT Franklin Avenue Line platform chapter of Franklin Avenue (New York City Subway). ----DanTD (talk) 00:26, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
[edit] January 2009
- Merge Canada's Hundred Days into Hundred Days Offensive. The Canada's Hundred Days article places focus on Canada's participation in the Hundred Days Offensive of World War I. The page is largely uncited, strong on POV and contains largely duplicated material from Hundred Days Offensive and Military history of Canada during World War I. The importance of the battle is already emphasised in Military history of Canada during World War I and any unique battle information could easily be adopted into Hundred Days Offensive. Thoughts Labattblueboy (talk) 18:41, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
- Merge Bitmap into Raster graphics and make bitmap a disambig. “Bitmap” is quite ambiguous word, and the article is virtually about the same raster graphics. Incnis Mrsi (talk) 22:29, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
- Merge Theorica into Theoric fund. F.chiodo (talk) 21:34, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
- Merge User:Nousernamesleft/desk/qin (the user involved with it has left Wikipedia) into Qin Dynasty. Foxy Loxy Pounce! 12:28, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
- Merge the multiple stub articles on housecleaning, house work and household management into a single article, housekeeping. This merger will also require moving the current housekeeping disambiguation list to a new housekeeping (disambiguation) article. Any feedback is appreciated here. --ZimZalaBim talk 02:54, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
- Merge (multiple) articles for characters and other aspects of the Redwall series of books. There are dozens of individual character articles and lists of characters, most of which unreferenced, such as list of bird characters, etc... Trying to avoid deletion, but it really is way too much information, far exceeding encyclopedic content. Discussion for all articles and a listing of articles at Talk:Redwall#Merger proposal. Jo7hs2 (talk) 21:09, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
[edit] 2008
