Thoai Son (Vietnamese: Thoại Sơn), is a district (huyện) of An Giang Province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam.
As of 2003 the district had a population of 187,620.[1] The district covers an area of 456 km². The district capital lies at Nui Sap.[1]
The Oc Eo vestige of Funan Kingdom locates here and they are believed to be from a trading port dating to between the 1st and 7th centuries CE. Thoai Son borders Chau Thanh to the north, Tri Ton to the west, Long Xuyen to the east and Kien Giang Province to the sourth.
The district is the location of Sap mountain, Ba The mountain and the Hồ Ông Thoại tourist region.
