[edit] Merge

Before I added page about Tin Hau I didn't know there have already been a page talking about 'her': Ma Tsu, whom HK people usually refer to as Tin Hau.... Maybe entry for Tin Hau can be discarded. Sorry. Gakmo 10:55, 29 Oct 2003 (UTC)

No problem. I have heard a lot of Tin Hau, but didn't know that it was the same as Ma Tsu! If they are 100% the same, then the 2 articles should be merged, with one redirecting to the other one. olivier 00:08, 30 Oct 2003 (UTC)

Matsu is commonly known as Tian Hou in Taiwanese Mandarin as well, especially as part of the temple names. But I failed to mention that as one of her names. I've merged stuff from Tin Hau into Matsu (goddess) unfound there, among which is her given name's etymology. --Menchi 00:05, 8 Nov 2003 (UTC)
