Søren Gade Jensen (born 27 January 1963) is a Danish politician and has served as Defence Minister representing the Liberal party, Venstre since 24 April 2004, when he replaced Svend Aage Jensby. He has been a Liberal member of the Danish Parliament since 2001. Before entering politics, he was a military officer and businessman. In January 2008 he lost his wife after years of cancer.[1]
