Pyhäjoki is a municipality of Finland.

It is located in the province of Oulu and is part of the Northern Ostrobothnia region. The municipality has a population of 3,360 (31 March 2009)[2] and covers an area of 1,365.32 square kilometres (527.15 sq mi) of which 823.23 km2 (317.85 sq mi) is water.[1] The population density is 6.2 inhabitants per square kilometre (16 /sq mi). The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
