Prospect is a United Kingdom trade union which represents engineers, managers, specialists and scientists in both the public and private sectors. It was formed on 1 November 2001 by the merger of the trade unions the Institute of Professionals Managers and Specialists (IPMS) and the Engineering Managers Association (EMA). As of 2009 it has 102,000 members, the president is Catherine Donalson and its General Secretary is Paul Noon.

Prospect has endorsed a merger with the Connect union, the union for managers in the communications sector.
