[edit] Osier, CO

This location along the Rio de Los Pinos river is the halfway point on the old toll road from Conejos, Colorado to Chama, New Mexico and roughly the halfway point on the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad. It can also reached by Forest Road 102.

[edit] History

This location was once a toll site before the Denver and Rio Grande Railway passed through with the San Juan Extension. Since then, a number of buildings have been built, including a section house, station, water tank, bunk house, and more recently, a dining facility.
