- Mycenaean Greece, the Greek-speaking regions of the Aegean Sea as of the Late Bronze Age, named (somewhat anachronistically) after the Mycenae of the Trojan War epics
- Mycenaean language, an ancient form of Greek, known from inscriptions in Linear B found in Mycenae but mostly in Knossos and Pylos
- Helladic period, the material-cultural period in the eastern Mediterranean in the Bronze Age associated with the Mycenaean Greeks
