Keith Brian Oakes (born Bedworth, 3 July 1956) is an English former professional association football player. His clubs included Peterborough United, Newport County and Gillingham.[1]
At Newport County he captained the team that won promotion and the Welsh Cup and in the subsequent season reached the quarter-final of the 1981 European Cup Winners Cup [2]. He has gone on to work as club physiotherapist for a number of clubs, including Lincoln City, where he had a brief spell as co-caretaker manager after the sacking of Phil Stant in 2001.[3] He is currently physiotherapist at Peterborough United.
