Hong Chengchou or Hung Cheng-chou (Chinese: 洪承疇; Pinyin: Hóng Chéngchóu; born 1593) was a Military commander at the end of the Ming Dynasty.He was one of leaders created the Qing Dynasty.Wu Sangui very fear him and after Hong died that Wu began rebell.

He was the Ming commander at the Battle of Songjin where he was defeated and captured my the Manchu. After surrendering and defecting to the Manchu side, he became instrumental in helping to model the Qing Dynasty bureaucracy in imitation of Ming institutional structures.
