Herlev is a suburb about 9 km northwest of the Copenhagen city center and the site of the municipal council of Herlev Municipality, Denmark.

Herlev is the hometown of Vancouver Canuck Jannik Hansen.
Herlev is known for its hockey team The Herlev Hornets.

Herlev has many attractions: the Gammelgaard Cultural Centre, the Klauzdal Music Venue, Skovlunde & Herlev Golf Courses, and a Children's Nature Centre. Herlev also has a library, a music school, and a public drawing school.
Herlev's Hjortespringkilen is a nature preserve with an arboretum that features over 90 different types of trees and bushes.

It is 10 km from Herlev to Copenhagen City Centre. It is 27 km from Herlev to Copenhagen Airport.
