Gérard Deltell is a politician in the Canadian province of Quebec and is the Action démocratique du Québec member of the National Assembly of Quebec for the riding of Chauveau.

Before he entered politics, Deltell worked as a TV correspondent with TQS. He also worked for the TVA and Radio-Canada stations in Quebec City as well as the CIRO-FM radio station as a radio show host. Overall, he worked as a journalist for a total of over 20 years.
Deltell studied history at the Universite Laval.

He ran as the Action démocratique du Québec candidate in the district of Chauveau in the 2008 provincial election. [1] He won the seat with 44% of the vote and succeeded Gilles Taillon who was running in another district.
