Charles John Abraham

The Rt Rev Charles John Abraham DD was the inaugural Bishop of Wellington.
Born in 1814,[1] he was educated at King’s College, Cambridge and was later a Fellow.[2] On his return from New Zealand he was Coadjutor Bishop of Lichfield then Precentor of Lincoln Cathedral. He died on 4 February 1903[3]. His son [4] and grandson[5] were also Bishops.
