The Basque alphabet is a Latin-derived alphabet used to write the Basque language. It consists of the following letters:

A B D E F G H I J K L M N Ñ O P R S T U X Z

C, Q, V, W, and Y are used primarily in writing foreign words.

There are several digraphs (successive letters used to represent a single sound):
