Ávila (province)

Ávila is a province of central-western Spain, in the southern part of the autonomous community of Castile and León. It is bordered by the provinces of Toledo, Cáceres, Salamanca, Valladolid, Segovia, and Madrid.
Ávila has a population of 165,138 (2002). Its capital is Ávila.
Pico Almanzor is the highest in the province.
